Experienced Seamstress - Spring, TX

<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced Seamstress with <strong>formal wear experience</strong> to join our team. As a Thimble Seamstress, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and performing <strong>alterations and repairs on garments</strong> <strong>at your home workspace</strong>.</p><p><strong style="font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;">Requirements:</strong></p> <ul><li><p>You must <strong>own a sewing machine </strong>at home, as this is a <strong>work from home</strong> position.</p></li><li><p>At least <strong>3 Years</strong> experience as a seamstress/performing formal dress alterations.</p></li><li><p>Proven experience working with <strong>Bridal, Prom or Evening Dresses is preferred.</strong></p></li><li><p>Proficiency in using sewing machines and other alteration tools.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques.</p></li><li><p>Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform precise measurements.</p></li><li><p>Basic math skills for measuring and calculating fabric requirements.</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain high-quality standards.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication and customer service skills.</p></li></ul> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li><p>Perform alterations and repairs on garments, including hemming, taking in or letting out seams, working with multiple laters and replacing buttons or zippers.</p></li><li><p>Use sewing machines, hand tools, and other equipment to complete tailoring tasks.</p></li><li><p>Provide exceptional customer service by assisting our customers with fitting and ensuring their satisfaction with the finished product.</p></li><li><p>Take accurate measurements from customers during fittings.</p></li><li><p>Maintain a clean and organized work area at home where the work is done.</p></li></ul> <p>If you have a passion for fashion, excellent sewing skills, and enjoy working with customers, we would love to hear from you.
